Global Crossover: An Evolution Strategy for Logic Synthesis
An evolution strategy for logic synthesis that recombines complete optimization recipes through a global crossover operator, presented at the International Workshop on Logic & Synthesis (IWLS) 2024.

Summary
Logic synthesis quality depends heavily on the sequence of optimization passes (the “recipe”) applied to a circuit. This work explores an evolution strategy for logic synthesis in which candidate solutions are recombined through a global crossover operator, exchanging information across entire optimization trajectories rather than making only local moves. The approach was presented at the 33rd International Workshop on Logic & Synthesis (IWLS 2024).
