I am a PhD student in Computer Science at UCLA, where I work with Prof. Jason Cong in the VAST research group. I am broadly interested in mathematical optimization problems in electronic design automation (EDA). My recent work spans quantum circuit synthesis, logic synthesis, and LLM agents for hardware design-space exploration.

Before joining UCLA, I received my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich, where I worked with Prof. Lana Josipović in the DYNAMO group and with Prof. Giovanni De Micheli at the Integrated Systems Laboratory, EPFL. I completed my B.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the UM-SJTU Joint Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where I worked with Prof. Weikang Qian on logic synthesis.

Jun 25, 2026 SegFold, accelerating sparse GEMM with a fine-grained dynamic dataflow, was presented at ISCA 2026.
May 14, 2026 Two papers accepted at DAC 2026: quantum circuit synthesis using an exact T library, and TRAM, training approximate multiplier structures for low-power AI accelerators.
May 18, 2025 Our preprint LLM-DSE, an LLM multi-agent framework for accelerator design-space exploration, is now on arXiv.
Oct 30, 2024 Two papers presented at ICCAD 2024: quantum state preparation exploiting don’t cares, and RareLS (rarity-reducing logic synthesis).
Sep 23, 2024 I joined UCLA as a PhD student in Computer Science, working with Prof. Jason Cong in the VAST research group.
