Simultaneous technology mapping and buffer insertion for dataflow (HLS) circuits — Best Paper Award nominee at ICCAD 2023.

MapBuf integrates buffer placement with technology mapping for dataflow circuits generated by high-level synthesis, so that buffer insertion decisions see the true post-mapping timing. It was nominated for the Best Paper Award at both IWLS and ICCAD 2023 (Wang et al., 2023), and is integrated into the Dynamatic HLS compiler.
